Some language tweaked. As with previous commentators, if this is not liked, revert to the previous version.

Q: When will the ICG proposal be ready?

A: We expect publish our current draft of the proposal in the coming few weeks. We will then seek confirmation from the CWG that their requirements regarding ICANN accountability have been met by the parallel accountability process (CCWG) and that this version reflects their portion of the proposal. This version is therefore available to the community as a complete form of the proposal in a near final form.

Q: What is the status of the final draft of the proposal?

A: This version will be the output of the ICG process for compiling a transition proposal, as far as ICG is concerned. The ICG does not plan to make any further substantive revisions on its own initiative.

Q: When will ICG submit the proposal to NTIA?

A: We will communicate the proposal to the ICANN board for transmission to NTIA as soon as we have confirmation from the CWG that their requirements regarding ICANN accountability have been met. This is subject to the timelines available from the CWG (and in turn the CCWG).

Q: What will the ICG do between now and the end of the transition?

A: We expect publish our final draft of the proposal in the next few weeks. We will seek confirmation from the CWG that their requirements regarding ICANN accountability have been met by the parallel accountability process (CCWG). Once we have that confirmation we will submit the proposal to the ICANN Board for relaying to the NTIA. This will complete our mandate. However, the ICG plans to remain constituted until September 2016 in order to respond to any queries about the proposal.

The ICG has no plans to undertake any further work beyond submitting the proposal. If there were widely supported requests to extend our mandate and charter we would of course discuss them. If there were any requests from the OCs to change the proposal we would be available to coordinate this according to the processes we have used to date.
