I am working down the list of action points for the chairs (in this case helping Alissa)...

M6: 21 Cooper to summarize the comments on process for the summary document.

The comments related to the process varies, although there is support from a diverse set of submissions from all over the world. Explicit support has been given from not only various parties actively participating in the operational communities, but also voices from private sector, academia and governments. Complaints on the suggestion fall into three categories. The first because they view NTIA set the criteria for the transition. This is explained by ISOC[1] is not the case. The criteria is generic and have been used for many years. The second group would have liked more time, and more participation from developing countries in the development of the proposal. The third is from one of the subgroups of the ICANN GNSO, IPC, that is not satisfied with the result. For the third group it is the ICG view that the issues have been discussed already at length, and the compromise reached is satisfactory.

This gives that the only comment regarding improvement is how inclusive the process has been. Outreach the operational communities have done has been impressive, but when working under time pressure, it could always have been better. Given the wide number of responses from all areas of the world, ICG do still believe the requirements on outreach and input from all stakeholder groups from all over the world have been met.
