Although I haven't yet seen an announcement from NTIA, the press is reporting that it will come today: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-switch/wp/2016/06/09/the-u-s-just-took-one-step-closer-to-privatizing-a-core-part-of-the-internet/

I'd like to prepare a brief statement to post on our site and will also plan to respond to press inquiries about this. Any objections to this, please make your voice heard.
