[Internal-cg] Late comments

Alissa,

I agree that the public comment period is formally going to be closed that date and people should take it into consideration. However it may be possible for the team to address comments coming in short after the deadline - which in many cases happened already at ICANN. So I'm inclined to slightly soften the text to be posted in the following way:
...The ICG cannot commit guarantee to addressing any comments received after the deadline.

Let’s discuss the status at the call tomorrow.

The secretariat has received some questions about whether we will accept late comment submissions. We will be posting this to the public comment site:

"The deadline for submitting comments is September 8 at 23:59 UTC. The ICG cannot commit to addressing any comments received after the deadline. If your final comment is not prepared to be submitted before the deadline, we suggest that you submit what you can before the deadline so that the ICG at least gets a sense of the direction of your comments."
